  • How far in advance should I book my session?

    I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Weekend slots tend to fill up quickly, especially during wedding and holiday seasons.

  • How do I book a session?

    You can book directly through our website or by emailing jayci@xpsd.studio. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • What's included in your photography packages?

    A pre-session consultation, professional editing, and a private online gallery for downloads. Depending on the package, you may also receive prints or albums.

  • What should I wear to my session?

    Once you book, a detailed style guide will be sent to you. Generally, solid colors, coordinated tones, and minimal logos photograph best.

  • When will I receive my photos?

    Turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks. A private online gallery will be sent to you where you can download your images.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

    We ask for at least 48 hours notice. The deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to a new date. If proper notice is not given before the 48 hour window, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.

  • How long should I book for a studio session?

    The ideal session length depends on the type of shoot and how many looks or setups you’d like.

    Headshots or Mini Portraits: 30–45 minutes — great for quick professional photos or simple portraits.

    Family or Lifestyle Sessions: 60–90 minutes — allows time for outfit changes and natural, relaxed moments.

    Branding, Fashion, or Creative Shoots: 1.5–3 hours — perfect for multiple outfits, lighting changes, and a variety of styles.

    Maternity, Engagement, or Editorial Sessions: 2–3 hours — gives plenty of time for storytelling, outfit changes, and posing comfortably.

    We always recommend booking a little extra time so you never feel rushed — the best photos happen when the experience is relaxed and enjoyable!

  • What's included in the studio rental?

    Each rental includes access to our curated, pre-lit sets, which are designed and ready to shoot — no lighting setup required! You’ll also have access to:

    Multiple styled backdrops and furniture setups

    A changing area/bathroom and seating area for clients or crew

    A selection of props to customize your shots

    Tripods and a selfie station for easy phone or camera set up.

    A portable full length mirror (on wheels)

    A vanity area with a mirror and lighting for hair and makeup touch-ups

    Wi-Fi

    A self-serve drink and snack bar with a Venmo code for easy payment

  • What are the rules for using the space?

    We ask that all renters treat the studio with care:

    Please return props and furniture to their original places.

    No smoking, glitter, or open flames in the studio.

    If you bring food or drinks, please clean up afterward.

    Overtime may be charged if sessions run longer than your reserved time.
